BlueAIS Class B Overview


What is a BlueAIS Transponder...? A fully integrated device, mounted above the deck in a single IP69 waterproof housing. Incorporating the VHF and GPS antennas, battery backup and one connector for cabling direct to the chart plotter. Silent mode (receive only) can be selected for security reasons eg. in piracy zonesThe first AIS class B transponder that eliminates overall cabling from typically 3 cables run for the common AIS design to one cable only The integrated GPS antenna and a VHF antenna directly connected to the housing, simplifie the installation and improve the quality of the transmitted signals.Easily the BlueAIS can be connected to the chart plotter with a NMEA 0183 interface or to a computer via the RS232 serial port.BlueAIS can report its position, while displaying the position of all vessels detected by the AIS.º 12V DC nominal power supply can be used (or anything between 9.6 V and 15.6 V) º Continuous overvoltage protection to 150 Voltsº Electrostatic discharge protected to 3000 Voltsº VHF electronics and GPS electronics all in one housing º VHF antenna integratedº Active GPS antenna integratedº Installed above the vessel's deck thanks to exceptional elements protection (IP69)º Fully conforms to EN60945 maritime electronics standard and AIS Class B standard ( IEC 62287-1)The Class B transponder is in a robust weatherproof housing with a small footprint for mounting above the deck. ?
